Travel Disruptions
For those who are still travelling to and from Central Park to work during the current Coronavirus shutdown period, the MyCommute team can offer help and support to outline your current travel options. Whilst the Bank does not advise the use of public transport during this period there are also extensive restrictions on service frequencies meaning for many it is not a viable option.

Additional Help and Support
If you need any more help or assistance in planning your commute, please get in touch with the MyCommute team. We can provide you with a Personalised Journey Plan to highlight all your travel options – just email dublin@my-commute.com for more information.
If you need support to get to the office or encounter any issues you can contact the MyCommute team by calling 01924 664638.

Other Travel Options
If you intend to cycle or walk to the site there is lots of information in the tabs to the right.

Public Transport Service Changes

Travel by Train

The closest rail link to Central Park is at Blackrock and is served by the DART, which operates along the coast between Greystones in the south and Howth in the north (calling at further stations including Connolly Station).

A range of further useful information on use of the DART can be found below, including useful maps, timetables and fare advice.

The Blackrock DART station can be accessed from Central Park via either Dublin Bus service 114 or the free private Central Park bus service. Further information on each of these services including timetables can also be found below.

  • Paying for journeys by DART

There are a number of ways to pay for your journey by DART. Which one suits you best will depend upon how often you travel however it is important to get it right as there are some significant savings to be made.

Tax Saver Tickets: Save up to 52%
Tax Saver Commuter tickets are best suited to those who travel by public transport on a frequent basis. The cost of a ticket is deducted from your salary before taxation allowing you to save up to 52% on the cost of the ticket. Tax Saver tickets, which can be either monthly or annual, should be ordered via MyBenefits.
For further information on how Tax Saver tickets work and the savings that can be made visit taxsaver.ie . To order your ticket please inquire through MyBenefits.

    Leap Cards
Leap Card is the new way to pay for travel around Dublin. It is suited to those who travel infrequently but want to save some money, and can be used on Luas, Dublin Bus, DART and Commuter Rail services.

All you need to do is buy your Leap Card, top it up with travel credit and away you go. You will always be charged the cheapest fare option which can be up to 18% cheaper than cash fares when using the DART. What's more, if you use your Leap card regularly within any 1 day or 7 day period the cost of your travel will be capped at the price you would have paid for a flexi ticket.

    Single & Return Tickets
Single and return tickets are suited to those who are making a one off journey. Tickets can be bought from the DART station, and are the most expensive way of paying for your journey.

    Other ticket options
A number of other ticket options are available however these options are also all covered by the TaxSaver and Leap tickets identified above.
  • Connecting to Blackrock

As noted above there are two options for travelling to Blackrock by bus.

The first is to use the free private Central Park bus service which provides a link to Blackrock station in the peak periods. A timetable for this service can be downloaded by clicking here
